Taylor Ward
Junior Embryologist
Taylor Ward found her love for reproductive physiology at Texas A&M University while working in a bovine research lab and obtaining her bachelors in animal science. Here she had the opportunity to delve into radioimmunoassays and understand the way hormones affect pregnancies. She was also heavily involved in several internships, working with different species such deer and equine, forming a well rounded education in animal reproduction.
After graduation Taylor continued on to get higher level training in a human IVF lab, focusing in both andrology and embryology. Here, she was able to solidify her skills such as vitrification, ICSI, and oocyte retrievals, establishing a solid foundation to be successful in the lab. Taylor always had a very big heart for animals and working with them, and knew she wanted to end up back in the industry. She was overjoyed to join the Equine IVF Team in August of 2024!
Outside of work, Taylor spends a lot of time hanging out with her two dogs, reading, working out or spending time in nature.
